A career in public education has provided Jennifer experience in teaching, counseling, and administration, all of which have strengthened her practice and her focus on teaching and lifelong learning. A former dancer, Jessica discovered yoga almost 10 years ago while working in Washington, D.C., and started practicing regularly. She has been practicing consistently at Soul Society 5 days a week since we opened and received her 200 hr yoga teacher certification from True Moon Yoga, in Arnold, in 2022, graduating top of her class. She is currently enrolled in a 300 hour teacher training with Carolyn Wyber
Jessica is certified in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Hot 26 (Bikram).
She encourages beginners to remember, "Everyone starts somewhere, and in a way we’re all beginners all the time. Yoga isn't like a dance routine where you work to master and perfect it. Some days you’ll be able to balance, and the next day you might fall out of it. It’s very humbling. We’re all beginners here, and we're all accepted."

Jenny’s yoga journey began after a 9-year career in Track & Field when she took her first Bikram Yoga class. She soon transitioned into Vinyasa yoga, then Yin yoga and Yoga Nidra. She appreciates the slower practices for their moments of stillness and the opportunity to feel connected to true purpose and true self. “As a long-time athlete and fast-paced person, slowing it down really allows my body to decompress from the heaviness of everyday life,” she says.
In Jenny’s classes, you can expect to learn values and principles of yoga while exploring a deep connection to community and self. Each class is a journey within and a journey forward.

Allie began her yoga journey in college when trying to find an outlet for her debilitating anxiety. After finding a true passion for yoga, Allie went on to deepen her practice with Di Goodman- completing her 200hr YTT at Ruah Yoga Studio in Annapolis.
As a mental health advocate, Allie hopes that sharing her yoga practice will lead to helping others who may struggle with the stressors of daily life. Allie enjoys incorporating her love for holistic healing into her yoga practice through use of essential oils, workshops with lunar cycle observation, and more.
She creates an environment that encourages students to have fun and be silly, while bringing a peaceful, relaxing, blissful energy to the room; it's the best of both worlds.

Lindsay grew up in the Annapolis area and has a love for fitness, being out on the water, and living an active, happy & healthy lifestyle. She received her 200hr yoga certification in 2018 with Rebecca Sirman through Yogavibez in Edgewater, MD.
Lindsay first found yoga in 2014 after an injury to her lower back, and the physicality of the practice caught her interest right away. Her intention as a professional Yoga Instructor is to help students listen to their inner selves and find the courage to step out of their comfort zone. She loves the energy and joy that yoga brings her, and she hopes that everyone that takes her classes experiences that joy in their own light, creating not only an enjoyable class for her students, but a full mind - body connection experience to heighten their day!
"Yoga is not just about the poses, but teaches you to be present in the moment, making the best out of every situation, and leaving class feeling the best version of yourself. A reminder to keep Living Your Life Everyday!"
As well as a yoga instructor, she is also a spin instructor at Tribe Cycle. When she's not in the yoga studio or on the bike, you can find her on the water paddle boarding, hiking, or on an adventure with her black lab, Huckleberry.

Adriane graduated from the Blue Lotus 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2022 after more than a decade of personal practice. Adriane’s yoga journey began during her sophomore year in college when she took a class at a local chiropractor’s office. She was immediately enamored by the focus, internal stillness and peace she found on her mat. She has returned to her practice time and time again to cope with the ebbs and flows of her life.
Adriane is a profound believer that the practice of yoga allows us to arrive fully in our lives and live fully in the present moment. She finds joy in linking her vinyasa sequences with carefully curated playlists, and believes music is another conduit for her students to “go within” during her classes. She resides with her family on the Eastern Shore and loves to boat on the Chesapeake Bay and play in her garden.
