Reviews From Our Graduates

The 200 YTT at Soul Society gave me the knowledge and experience to safely and confidently develop my own teaching practice. Through this training, I have not only deepened my understanding of the philosophies of yoga, anatomy, and alignment principles but also gained more self-awareness and compassion. I would highly recommend this program to individuals interested in diving further into a personal practice and those who’d like to instruct.
— Katie Lillard, Soul Society YTT Grad
The training has influenced me to slow down and listen to my body during asana, to balance myself and breath through pranayama, and to prepare my mind with meditation. With the encouragement and confidence I built throughout the training I decided that in addition to deepening my practice, I wanted to share what I learned others.
— Lindsay Klassen, Soul Society YTT Grad
The 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Julia at Soul Society was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to teach or just deepen your own personal yoga practice. The deep connections with the other trainees as well as what I learned about my own yoga practice was something I will never forget. I am excited and feel confident and ready to teach yoga to others as well as continue to work on my own personal practice. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!
— Lauren Buffington, Soul Society YTT Grad
Beyond learning the proper alignments and modifications for the postures and importance of having a consistent practice, I learned numerous techniques for managing stress and anxiety. The teaching community was kind, encouraging, knowledgeable, and supportive. I can’t imagine a better group of teachers!
— Suzanne Covington, Soul Society YTT Grad
