Yoga Props are our friends! Somehow they have gotten a "bad rep” as if if you use them it makes you less of a yogi; that is not the case, rather it is quite the opposite. Yoga props (Blocks, Straps, Blankets, Bolsters, etc) can enhance and support your physical yoga practice. During this 2-hour workshop, you will learn how to confidently use yoga props while practicing. The props are there to help you, rather than set you back. Props help students of all levels to gain awareness of the yoga postures and receive the benefits of the practice. When you give yourself the gifts of support from yoga props, you give your body an opportunity to receive the benefits of the posture.
Join Posey Daves, E-RYT 200/RYT 300/YACEP, in this workshop designed for BOTH yoga students and yoga teachers. We will start this workshop with a gentle movement flow to warm up the body, then start to breakdown a variety of postures that commonly benefit from prop use.
Soul Society Yoga has props for you to use, however, if you have your own props, feel free to bring them.
