Every year approximately 475,000 Americans die from cardiac arrest in the United States. Basic Life Support CPR training provides you with the knowledge and skills necessary to help improve the chances of survival for those that suffer from a cardiac arrest event.
Topics covered will include:
*How to identify who needs CPR
*How to safely perform CPR and rescue breaths
*Using an AED
*Foreign body airway obstruction removal.
In addition to cardiac arrest, approximately 60,000 Americans die of traumatic injury resulting in blood loss. We will also be covering the knowledge and skills necessary to help treat this preventable condition including tourniquet application, wound dressing, and when to effectively apply these skills.
